Chef Allison Stokes has been with Twenty20 Management and English Meadows for over four years. She has 17 years’ experience in the food service industry and 10 years’ experience as a kitchen manager. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2008, with a B.A. in English, she followed her passion for cooking to Portland, Oregon where she earned an associate degree in culinary arts at the Oregon Culinary Institute. While there, she was awarded the James Beard Scholarship of Excellence. After studying and working in Portland, she moved to Richmond, Virginia where she worked under a Michelin Star chef at the Quirk Hotel.
